Account management

Click on the “My account” icon (man icon), at the top right of the screen.
Click on “I’m not yet a customer”.
Create your account by entering the required information.

Click on the “next” button.

Tips  : Your purchases can earn you free packages if you join My Club Portes du Soleil when you register.

Click on the “my account” icon at the top right of your screen.

Check your email address: does it correspond to your account? is it entered correctly?

If you’ve forgotten your password :

Click on “Forgot your password?
Enter your account e-mail address
You’ll receive an e-mail with all the information you need to reset your password within a few minutes.

If you are still unable to log in, please contact us and we will do our best to help you.

  • Connect to your account via the “My Account” (man icon) link in the top right corner.
  • Click a second time on “My Account” to access your account information.
  • In your account, click on the section “My Cards”

 1. Adding a card

  • Click on the “add” button
  • Enter the number of your hands-free card (click here to see an example)
  • Validate

Your card was added and will appear in the list of cards! Repeat the above steps to add other cards.

Please note: you can only register 15 cards in your account. If you want to credit the purchases of more cards to your account:

  •  Delete one of your cards (see below)
  • Add a new card as shown above

The loyalty points linked to the deleted card (Soleils) remain in your account even after its deletion. The points from the new card are added to your total points.

You can repeat the operation as many times as you have cards.

2. Deleting a card

  • Click on the “trash can” logo in front of the card that you wish to delete.
  • Validate

Your card has been deleted. It will no longer appear in your account.

You can join the loyalty program “My Club Portes du Soleil” when creating your account by clicking on the “yes” button opposite the membership proposal.

If you haven’t done so, don’t panic! We will offer to join the club the next time you connect.

Membership of “My Club PDS” allows you to collect “Soleil” points with each purchase. When you reach 200 “Soleils” you get a free Portes du Soleil day pass.

The advantages

  • Log in to your account via the “my account” pictogram man icon).

    Click again on the “my account” icon to access your account information.

    In your account, go to “My Club Portes du Soleil”. You can see the number of Suns available to date, as well as information on the purchases that have enabled you to collect these Suns.

    In this section, you can delete your My Club Portes du Soleil membership, use your Suns and view your Suns.

Purchase / reloading

If you don’t have a hands-free card (flat-rate support), continue with the online purchase process: selection > order > basket > payment.
An order receipt will be sent to you by email on completion of your order. Keep it, as you’ll need it to collect your package, or in the event of loss or complaint to our customer service department.
You’ll also find all the information about your order in your customer account.

There are 2 ways to obtain your passes:

Pick-up at the cash desk or kiosk upon receipt of your order receipt,
Home delivery for Portes du Soleil packages only (please allow 8 days for delivery).

Fields to be completed :

  • Last name:
  • First name:
  • Date of birth:
  • Good-quality photo of your face from the front, without hat, sunglasses or other accessories. (extensions accepted: ‘png’,’jpg’,’jpeg’).

Proof to be uploaded if requested:
Child / Youth / Senior / Super Senior = ID card.

If you have a hands-free card, you can recharge it online.

  • Connect to your account (or create it if you don’t have one)
  • Choose your package (resort, date, duration…)
  • Enter the card number during the “order” step
  • Finalise your order
  • Your lift-pass is activated automatically within a maximum of 15 minutes, without any action on your part or need to go to the cashier

Avoriaz is one of the 12 resorts in the Portes du Soleil area.

  • The Avoriaz area has 34 ski lifts and 75 km of ski slopes
  • The Portes du Soleil area is 197 ski lifts and 650 km of ski slopes

The central position of Avoriaz makes it very easy to reach the other stations of the Portes du Soleil and take advantage of a vast skiing area.

The lift-pass for the Avoriaz area only, is available for 5 hours, 1 day or 2 days.

If you wish to benefit from a longer duration package, only the Portes du Soleil lift-pass will be offered.

The “hands-free” card is your ski pass holder. It looks like a bank card. It contains a microchip that allows you to trigger the lift gate without taking it out of your pocket.

This chip can also be used to top up your ski pass online, thanks to the number printed on it > See a hands-free card and identify its number

The purchase of a “hands-free” card at the price of 3€ is compulsory for the first purchase of a ski pass. It is non-refundable but can be reused for several years.

3 advantages :

Practical: no risk of loss or damage, as the card stays in your pocket (do not place it with your cell phone, pocket ashtray, other “hands-free” devices, keys, bank card or any metal object).

Ecological: it can be used season after season.

Economical: you can top up your ski passes online without picking them up at the cash desk, saving precious time. And you’ll earn Soleils for a free day.

In online sales, when you are asked for a card number when choosing your lift-pass, it is the number of your hands-free card that is used (and not your number credit card). Click here to see an example.

Lift-passes are free for children under 5, but the “hands-free” card is compulsory (at a cost of 3€).

Proof of civil status will be requested for obtaining it.

This package can be purchased online or at the ski lift ticket offices. However, it is not available in an automatic terminal.

Children who benefit from this lift-pass must be accompanied by an adult with a valid lift-pass.

“sNOwRISK” insurance is offered with the purchase of a winter season lift-pass, to cover you against the risks incurred on the ski area.

The price is 3€ per day.

The duration of the insurance must be identical to that of the lift-pass to which it relates. For example: 6-day lift-pass = 6-day insurance.

This insurance can be purchased online or at the ticket offices.

 

For online sales, insurance is offered after choosing your lift-pass, when entering information about the user (name, first name…)

A photo is compulsory for any lift-pass lasting more than 8 days.

For online purchases, the photo should be uploaded when ordering.

Good-quality photo of your face from the front, without hat, sunglasses or other accessories. (extensions accepted: ‘png’, ‘jpg’, ‘jpeg’).

For purchases at a ticket office, the photo is scanned or taken with the webcam of our staff.

To empty your basket:

  • Click on the “My Basket” link
  • Click on the “Empty Basket” button
  • Confirm the deletion of your basket by clicking on “Agree”

To delete a lift-pass from your order:

  • Click on the “My Basket” link
  • Delete the desired lift-pass in the order summary by clicking on the “Delete” icon in front of the person concerned
  • Confirm the deletion of your lift-pass by clicking on “Agree”

Payment

Different payment methods are available, depending on your purchase option:

  • Online purchase on this site > bank cards  – American Express – Chèques vacances Connect
  • Purchase at a ticket office; cash, bank cards, cheques (ID required), holiday vouchers
  • Automatic terminal purchase> bank cards only (except American Express)

Follow the different stages of online purchase: selection> order> basket.

In the summary of your order, enter your coupon or promotional code then click on the button “validate the coupon or the code”
Your price advantage automatically applies to your basket.

If your credit card order has been interrupted or your payment has not been validated by your bank, your account will not be debited and your order will be cancelled.

In this case, we invite you to renew your purchase or contact your bank if the problem persists.

Rates

Ski pass prices are different at lift ticket offices and on our website.

The Internet rate is the lowest.

What’s more, when you calculate the price of your lift pass online, any current promotions are automatically applied. At www.skipass-avoriaz.com, you’re sure to get the best price!

There are no special rates for students, but a “youth” rate is available to all 16-25 year olds on presentation of proof of civil status.

Very attractive rates are available on Avoriaz 1-day ski passes if you buy your pass well in advance.

Dynamic pricing is only available at www.skipass-avoriaz.com. They can be accessed via our best rates calendar or applied directly to your ski pass price calculation when available.

Preferential rates are available to all holders of a disability card. See rates.

Membership of My Club Portes du Soleil allows you to collect Soleils with every purchase you make. You get a free Portes du Soleil day pass when you reach 200 Soleils.

PARTIALLY USED OR UNUSED PASSES
Under no circumstances will SERMA reimburse partially used or unused passes, whether or not they are the user’s fault.

Furthermore, no deferral, transfer or other compensation will be made.

CLOSURE / SHUTDOWN OF INSTALLATIONS

In the event of SERMA’s total or partial failure to provide its services in connection with ticket sales or the use of the facilities, whether on a permanent or temporary basis, the customer shall have no claim against SERMA (in particular, no claim for restitution or damages). This rule applies in particular to interruptions or limitations of operations as well as track or path closures in the following circumstances:

– Acts of God
– force majeure, such as wind or weather conditions, avalanche danger or strike action
– injunctions or restrictions by an authority (e.g. due to electricity shortages)
– voluntary restrictions due to special circumstances (e.g. due to a call from the authorities to economize because of a shortage of electricity)
– pandemic or epidemic

INSURANCE

Only persons who have taken out insurance cover at the time of purchase of the package may claim any reimbursement, subject to the conditions of the insurance in question. Requests for reimbursement should be addressed directly to the insurance company.

Picking up pass

2 scenarios for ski passes purchased online:

  • Purchase of a new lift pass: the lift pass can be collected from one of our pick-up boxes, located in the resort close to our points of sale.
  • Recharging a lift pass > your lift pass is automatically activated within a maximum of 15 minutes, without any action on your part or the need to go to the cash desk.

Your lift pass purchased online is available at the cash desk 1 hour after receipt of your order. You can collect your lift pass from the cashier of your choice or from one of our automatic terminals: Location of lift cashiers.

When collecting your lift pass, you will need your order receipt. This can be produced on paper or on your cell phone.

If you have opted for home delivery of your package (Portes du Soleil packages only), it will be dispatched 8 days before the package validity date. Allow a few days for delivery, and it will be in your mailbox !

After sale

No refunds will be made for accidents, illness or other personal reasons. Insurance is offered to cover these risks at the time of online purchase.

All your complaints and suggestions should be sent to us via our contact form. It’s the most efficient way to reach us and follow up your request.

SERMA offers a mobile application dedicated to users of its ski area. You’ll find it under the name “Avoriaz Up & Down” in the Google Play and App Store stores. It will enable you to benefit from :

  • real-time information (timetables, slope and lift openings, lift waiting times, webcams, warning messages, etc.).
  • dedicated services (ski statistics, itinerary calculation, geolocalized emergency call-out, etc.).
  • Feel free to download it and share your opinion with us.

112 is the European emergency number available free of charge in France and the European Union. You can call 112 to contact an emergency service free of charge from a landline or cell phone in France or Switzerland.

In winter, SERMA has a rescue service on its ski area. It can be contacted directly during ski area opening hours on +33(0)4.50.74.11.13. This number also appears on the back of the new hands-free cards and on the piste map.
