Downhill mountain biking in a bike park can be risky. It requires a high level of physical and mental fitness, as well as specific equipment (bike and gear). Wearing a suitable helmet is compulsory, and the use of protective gear is strongly recommended (long gloves, knee pads, elbow pads, back protection, etc.).
To begin this specific activity, we advise you to work with a qualified instructor, and not to enter the bike park without knowing the difficulty of the trails and the riding bases.
Front saddles (shotgun type and similar), baby seats and all types of baby carriers used on mountain bikes, as well as trailers, are prohibited on the Avoriaz lifts and bike park. These devices are not suitable for this purpose and provide no protection for the passenger.
